I'm a PhD student at the University of Akron in Biomimicry within Integrated Biosciences interested in cross-scale interactions and trade-offs, regime changes, Panarchy, adaptive governance, and the interface of science and policy of social-ecological systems (SES). My research is framed within the context of increasing surprises from climate change as we enter the Anthropocene and motivated for adaptations and better ecological governance for future generations.
