The Resilience Research Centre (RRC) at Dalhousie University is under the direction of Dr. Michael Ungar, Canada Research Chair in Child, Family and Community Resilience. The focus of the RRC is with children and youth living in challenging contexts across culturally diverse settings around the world.

The incumbent will be asked to assist with the Resilient Youth in Stressed Environments study (www.ryseproject.org ). RYSE is a five-year international study of resilience among youth ages 15-24 in communities affected by changing social and environmental conditions related to oil and gas production.

The RRC is seeking a dynamic individual with an interest in developing expertise in mixed methods research related to social ecological resilience. This postdoctoral fellowship will be under the primary supervision of Dr. Matthew Schnurr, Department of International Development Studies, Dalhousie University.
