Two 2- year postdoc or researcher positions are available at the Stockholm Resilience Centre for modeling poverty traps and cross-scale interactions in social-ecological systems. The positions are part of two projects that aim to systematically assess interactions and feedbacks that may explain observed social-ecological phenomena with the aim to develop theory and support resilience-based approaches to development. We are seeking candidates with backgrounds in dynamical systems theory, complexity theory or related fields and interest in the dynamics of social-ecological systems, particularly in the context of natural resource management in fisheries and agriculture.
