Announcements
A regularly updated list of general announcements in the resilience community, including conference and position announcements.

 

Researcher database
The researcher database facilitates communication among researchers by permitting them to browse or search the database, add their own profiles, and contact fellow researchers.

 

Thresholds database
This is a database of thresholds and regime shifts in ecological and linked social-ecological systems. The database is constantly growing through a community effort. An associated bibliography of 'thresholds' in the scienctific literature includes hundreds of references.

Bibliography database
Search, sort, and download over 400 selected references by RA members and others.

 

Reports
A growing collection of policy documents from a resilience perspective and other reports, including Buzz Holling's recent memoir "A Journey of Discovery".

 

Newsletter
RA News is a monthly e-newsletter that briefly highlights activities and publications of the Resilience Alliance and our members. An online archive of past issues dates back to August 2005. Subscribe from the RA website homepage.

Glossary
The RA glossary provides clear and accessible definitions, based on current usage of the terms in the scientific literature by RA researchers. Browse the glossary and suggest words for inclusion.

 

Dialogs
The RA hosts public and private dialogs. Active public dialogs currently include an email-based listserve of more than two hundred resilience graduate students and post-doc researchers.

 

Publishing services
The Resilience Alliance, publisher of Ecology and Society (http://www.ecologyandsociety.org/) and Avian Conservation and Ecology - Écologie et conservation des oiseaux (http://www.ace-eco.org/), is now offering its journal development and journal management and maintenance services to academic societies, government agencies and other interested parties wanting to launch an open access journal or revitalize an existing journal.
