The idea for a researcher database grew out of the 'PhD resilience dialog' (PRD), an open email discussion group for graduate students and post-docs who are conducting resilience-related research, to provide a forum for asking questions and sharing information.

Similarly, the researcher database is aimed at facilitating communication among researchers by permitting them to browse or search the database, add their own profiles, and contact fellow researchers.

All data included in the database is submitted on a voluntary basis by the researchers themselves. Anyone may submit their information for review and inclusion in the database. More specifically, the database is aimed at researchers whose work relates to the themes explored by the RA. Database fields include: name, institution, position, country, geographic area of research, keywords, brief summary of research interests, and contact information (note: email addresses in this page are hidden to protect against their misuse, an email link will open a popup window to send an email message to anyone in the database).
